Full-time – Governess (live in/out)

Full-time English-speaking Governess required for G6 & G7, located on the outskirts of Moscow, Russia. £1100 – £1400 per week, Start ASAP

A nice family is seeking a caring, kind, sporty, professional and experienced English-speaking Governess for their daughters aged 6 & 7 to assist in their learning and development.

As a Governess, you will work with the girls daily to immerse them in the English language through structured and planned games, activities, and play. You will be responsible for meeting their daily needs and offer learning at every opportunity. You will also be required to accompany the girls to additional activities and during trips.

The girls were born in the USA and have a good level of English. The aim is to improve and develop their ability. The oldest girl currently attends school daily and both children have lots of additional activities (singing, playing guitar, swimming etc). They are very active and have a great interest in learning.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess with a sporty nature and relevant childcare & teaching qualifications. A solid understanding of early years and primary education is required. The role is most suited to candidates who are energetic, engaging and active. The ability to speak Russian would be beneficial to your application to communicate without staff members.

The working schedule will be 5 days on / 2 days off. The days off are negotiable but may not always fall at the weekend. The working hours will be approximately 8 hours per day. The exact working hours will depend on the girl’s schedule so flexibility is required.

The family is located on the outskirts of Moscow (Nikolina Gora). Transport and accommodation can be provided.

The family travels frequently and the Governess will be required to accompany them.

The salary on offer is £1100 – £1400 per week and is negotiable depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate.

This is a live out position and preference will be given to candidates who are already based in Moscow and have their own accommodation. The family can also provide the role as a live-in position and provide a separate bedroom in the family home.

It is likely the family will relocate to the centre of Moscow and a separate apartment can be provided in the future.
