Full-time – Governess (live out)

Full-time English-speaking Governess required in Dubai, UAE for G5. Salary £1100 to £1500 per week, start ASAP.

A client located in Dubai is seeking a professional, friendly, energetic and creative English-speaking Governess to join their family to provide care and educational support to their 5-year-old daughter.

As a Governess, you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the girl; providing a high standard of care within a nurturing environment, following an already established routine and schedule, and ensuring the child is reaching all age-appropriate milestones. You will also be required to accompany the girl during walks, to additional activities and during trips.

Additional duties will include assisting with general care, providing and arranging different activities and encouraging independence. You will ensure all the child’s belongings are in order, and generally be hands-on to assist when required.

The ideal candidate will be an English-speaking Governess with a sporty nature and relevant childcare & teaching qualifications. A solid understanding of primary education is required. You should be calm, fun, kind, bubbly, and creative. You should be independent, proactive and able to undertake tasks without being managed. Speaking French would be beneficial to your application.

This is a live-out position with no accommodation provided. The family is residing in Dubai in Palm Jumeirah and ideally looking for a governess who is already based in Dubai. The family may consider candidates who are willing to relocate themselves and provide an accommodation allowance.

The working schedule will be 5 days on / 2 days off. Working from Monday – Friday, 8 hours a day. The exact hours to be negotiable. Flexibility is required with the working schedule.

International travel will be required.
