Full-time – Junior Nanny/Governess (live out)

Full-time Junior Nanny/Governess required for 5 children, located in North Carolina, USA, $1000 per week, Start ASAP.

A lovely American family residing in North Carolina is offering a great opportunity for a professional junior Nanny/Governess to teach and mentor their children.

The children are currently being homeschooled by their mother and father and are seeking a junior nanny/governess to provide support with implementing their education. You will be responsible for delivering and planning lessons following the curriculum and materials already in place.

There are 5 children in the home ranging from 6 – 15 years old. Each child will need to be supported individually.

In addition to teaching duties, the candidate will be required to assist with the daily needs of the children, assist with getting the children up and preparing breakfast, helping maintain a clean and tidy household, support extracurricular activities, act as a positive role model, and promote good behaviour and attitudes.

The ideal candidate will be professional, engaging, active, able to use own initiative and work on own but also able to work alongside the mother and father as part of a team. With 5 children in the home, you will need to be able to work at a fast pace, be organised, and take the lead when required. A highly educated candidate is preferred (being educated to degree level as a minimum) with a strong knowledge of Maths.

The role would be ideal for a candidate looking to gain experience in private households, moving from an educational establishment.

The ability to play the piano would be beneficial to your application.

Working schedule will be 5 days per week. Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm. Additional hours may be required in the evening and this will be arranged in advance.

This is a live out position with no accommodation provided.
