Full-time – Nanny/Governess (live in)

Full-time English-speaking Nanny/Governess required for Istanbul, Turkey B1 & B5, salary £1300 – £1600 per week, live-in, start ASAP.

A client located in Istanbul, Turkey is seeking a fun, active, and creative Nanny/Governess to join their family to provide care and educational support to their 2 children. 

As a Nanny/Governess, you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the children; providing a high standard of care within a nurturing environment. Following an already established routine and schedule, and ensuring the children are reaching all age-appropriate milestones. 

Additional duties will include assisting with general care and support, providing and arranging educational activities, promoting good manners and positive behaviours, and encouraging independence. You will ensure all the children’s areas are kept clean and tidy and assist with the children’s laundry and generally be hands-on to assist when required. The father is very hands-on with the children and will often provide you with downtime during the day when he takes the children out. From time to time you may be required to have the monitor for the 1-year-old and assist if he wakes in the night. He does sleep through and this will only be required if and when he does. 

The ideal candidate will be an English Nanny/Governess. Be calm, fun, active, and creative. You should be independent, proactive and able to undertake tasks independently and have a kind manner. Speaking German or Spanish also would be beneficial to your application.

The family have a fully-staffed household.

This is a live-in position with a private bedroom and bathroom provided.

This role is only suitable for passport holders from the European Union.

The family travels internationally and you will be required to travel with them. 

The working schedule would ideally be a 6/1 working up to 12 hours per day. Day off can be negotiated. Flexibility is required with the working schedule.
