Temporary – Governess/Governor (live out)

Temporary Governess/Governor required for B5, located in Marbella, Spain, €900 – €1300 per week. Start ASAP, 4 – 5 month contract.

A well-known client of our agency is seeking a governess/governor to meet the educational needs of their young child during the current spring term. 

The family is located in Marbella, Spain and is seeking a qualified teacher to support their child academically. The child will need to follow the British curriculum to keep him on par with his peers with classes delivered through structured and unstructured learning and classes to be delivered in an engaging and interactive manner.  

This is a lovely opportunity for a teacher to work outside of the classroom, whilst still delivering a high standard of education and using the environment, culture, and world around them to allow the child to learn, explore and grow. Formal classes will be required as well as project work, excursions, extracurricular activities, play and games to promote the child’s learning. 

The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, kind, and well-mannered, and provide a welcoming learning environment. The governess/teacher should hold a PGCE (or equivalent) and have previous experience working in private households. Knowledge of the British curriculum is essential as the young boy will commence in an International school in September. 

The clients can be flexible from 3 days – 5 days per week up to 35 hours. Please advise the team of your requirements and availability.

A competitive salary is on offer to the right candidate from €900 – €1300 per week.
