A professional and highly organised House Manager is required for a private family of five based in Dubai. The family includes two boys aged 8 and 9 and a 17-year-old daughter.
As a House Manager, you will have extensive experience managing private households in Dubai. You will work closely with the principal to ensure the smooth daily running of the household, managing staff, coordinating contractors, and supporting family life with confidence and discretion.
As House Manager, you will:
– Manage and coordinate household staff, ensuring smooth daily operations
– Oversee household stock management and inventories
– Coordinate and supervise contractors for maintenance, repairs, and household services
– Manage family schedules, including children’s school timetables, extracurricular activities, and appointments
– Assist with school runs when required and ensure children have everything prepared the night before
– Oversee wardrobe management, including the cleaning of delicate laundry, ironing, school uniforms, and care of valuable personal items and shoes
– Prepare light, healthy, and homely meals for the children and family if required
– Organise car maintenance, dental, medical, veterinary, and salon appointments, ensuring all are kept up to date
– Ensure the sauna and swimming pool are regularly serviced and maintained
– Manage packing and unpacking for family trips
– Organise seasonal decorations, including Christmas and Halloween
– Support the family with their relocation to permanent accommodation in 2028, coordinating with designers and assisting with the set-up of the new home
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working as a House Manager in Dubai and be highly organised with a meticulous eye for detail. You will be confident, outgoing, and a strong team player, able to work closely with the principal and household staff. Flexibility and a proactive approach are essential, as is the willingness to take on a wide range of household tasks when required. The House Manager must demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and strong communication skills while maintaining the highest standards of service.
This is a live-out position, requiring the candidate to have their own car and accommodation in Dubai.
Salary on offer is 17,000 – 23,000 AED per month.
Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week, 9 – 10 hours per day.
