We have a wonderful opportunity for a trained and experienced midwife to lead a mid wife and maternity nursing team in the UAE.

Duties include

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, midwives and babysitters with a special focus on building their capacities

Keep up to date with all requirements as part of the Dubai Health Authority for our staff and training programs

Represent the company in all breastfeeding forums, mummy groups, mummy mornings and forums

Private Home visits to families across the UAE

Advising and informing new parents on issues such as feeding (breastfeeding/formula feeding), sleeping, safety, physical and emotional development, weaning, immunization and other aspects of childcare

Offer pre and post-natal training classes for families that include topics such as postnatal care, sleep routines, sleep training, weaning, what to expect, baby massage, hypnobirthing, mummy & baby classes

Provide emotional support regarding issues such as postnatal depression, disability, family conflict etc.

Supporting and training new and existing maternity nurses

Lead Blog and Posts along with the CEO

Active on UAE Facebook groups to provide support and education to families around the UAE on childcare issues

Work to set up CME accredited/ DHA courses

Engage in monthly meetings along with the CEO and staff to discuss company growth and development

Stay up to date on the latest mother and baby conferences and any relevant training that would benefit our team

Manage conferences, training and seminars

Conduct market research on a continuous basis to ensure we are up to date with our target market needs

The role is ideally suited to a qualified and experienced maternity nurse/midwife, confident in delivering a range of classes, able to form positive relationships with parents, hold experience of training staff and have previous experience of working in private VIP households. The location of employment will be office /clinic based but could develop into home visits too.

The working hours will be from 9am – 6pm, working 5 days per week.

Requirements:
-Qualified Maternity nurse/midwife

-Confident in delivery a wide range of classes and training colleagues

-Experience of working in private households
