An American family located in Hawaii is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic Governess to assist in the education and development of their three children.
As a Governess, you will be responsible for the children’s educational development. You will support their learning in school with extra classes and fun activities based on their studies. In addition to this, you will be required to offer homework assistance and promote language development. You will be required to become a positive role model and promote good etiquette.
The oldest child attends school daily until mid-afternoon, and the twins attend playschool and return home just after lunch. The afternoons will be focused on classes and fun activities. The family employs a local nanny who will oversee most of the care duties, giving the governess time to focus on their education.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and mature Governess educated to degree level. You should have previous experience working with this age range in private homes. You will hold a USA passport or green card.
The working schedule will be 5/2 working from midday until 6.30/7 pm when the children go to bed.
The salary on offer is $1800 gross per week.
This is a live-in position with a private room provided within the family home in a wonderful location.
The family travels internationally and you will be required to travel with them.
