A recommended Australian family is seeking a Tutor/Teacher to meet the educational needs of their four children during their travels.

The family will be embarking on a round the world trip and is seeking a qualified teacher to support the children academically throughout their trip. The children currently attend an Australian school in Singapore and require daily classes to keep them on level with their peers.

As a Tutor/Teacher you will be responsible for educating the children following the Australian curriculum and offering classes in all core subjects.

This is a lovely opportunity for a teacher to leave the classroom and use the environment, culture and world around them to allow the children to learn, explore and grow. Formal classes will be required as well as project work, excursions, extra curriculum activities, play and games to promote the children’s learning.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, kind, well mannered, open minded to teaching, active and creative – someone who is capable of adapting their classes to different environments, making each location a new learning experience and linking in with the interests of the children. The Tutor/Teacher will hold a PGCE and have extensive knowledge of the Australian/International curriculum.

Travel and destinations will include Europe and USA.

The family would be option to a couple fulfilling this role and the second candidate working as a Teaching assistant with some care duties.

Accommodation is provided and this will vary from location to location.

Working schedule is 5 days on/2 days off,
