A professional, engaging, energetic Governess is required to join a family living in Moscow, to assist in the upbringing of their four children and support their educational development.

The family already have experience working with native speakers. The girl’s level of English language is intermediate, and the boys are beginners.

The Governess will be required to work with all four children to support their learning in school (homework assistance, subject mentoring, one to one classes) and develop their language ability during recreational time. All the children attend various extra-curricular classes, therefore it will be rare when all four children will be involved in the English lessons at once. It might be required to accompany the children to their classes, however, no drops off to school are required. In addition to this, you will act as a positive role model, teach etiquette and promote good manners and behaviour.

Duties to include, supporting school work and education, coordinating and providing leisure activities, extra curriculum activities and assisting with daily routines.

There are five children in the household, the youngest one-year-old girl is fully cared for by a Russian nanny, therefore you will work alongside her as a team.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess confident in working with multiple siblings, have a strong personality, with experience of teaching English to the age ranges involved. Relevant Teaching/Childcare qualifications are essential. The family is ideally looking for a candidate with a joyful, energetic, active personality.

The working schedule is 5 days on 2 days off, working up to 10 hours per day. The family can consider Rota or any other schedule for the right candidate.

The salary is £1000-£1200 per week for a 5/2 schedule and can be negotiable for the right candidate reflecting on the final schedule.

This is a live-in or live-out position. The family can provide with a separate studio-apartment in a staff-house on the family’s grounds.

The family is interested in long-term commitment.

Preference is given to candidates who are already in Moscow, transport can be provided from the nearest metro Tepliy Stan.

The position commences ASAP.
