Full-time English-speaking Governess required in Muscat, Oman, for G5, salary £3500 – £4000 per month, Start ASAP.
A family is seeking an engaging professional and experienced Governess to join their family to assist with the education and language development of their daughter.
As a Governess, you will be required to focus your time and effort on developing the young girl’s English language abilities and social skills. You will act as a positive mentor in her life to encourage independence, improve her confidence and help her develop into a well-rounded young lady.
The girl attends school daily and you will assist with school work and after-school activities, along with age-appropriate play.
The family has an interest in Montessori and would like this approach to be used when promoting development.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess who holds teaching qualifications (PGCE/Montessori). A background in psychology will be beneficial to your application. Previous experience in this age range is essential along with private household experience.
The household is fully staffed and a nanny is in place. No care duties are required.
International travel will be required.
The position is live-out with separate accommodation provided.
The working schedule is 6 days per week, working 8 – 10 hours per day, negotiable to the right candidate.
