A high profile family is seeking a caring, friendly, professional mature Nanny/Governess to assist them in the daily care of their two children.

As a Nanny/Governess you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the children – care, diet, health, cleanliness and routine. In addition you will be required to work individually with each child to meet their educational needs, promote their development and engage them through a range of activities and play. Duties will involve escorting the child to and from activities, pre school and events.

B3 has a good level of English, Spanish and Catalan. He currently attends a trilingual pre school. His younger sibling B1, has an understanding of the English language.

The ideal candidate will have both childcare and educational qualifications, a minimum of 3 years experience of working in private households (high profile preferred), experience of working with early years, outstanding references, be confident yet calm, able to work well under pressure and a good team player.

The position is based in Barcelona with international travel.

The children’s current nanny is leaving due to retirement.

The working schedule is 5.5 days working with 1.5 days off. You will be required to stay over night with the children once a week in order to relieve the night nanny.

This is a live in position but the family will happily consider a live out role in the future and provide a contribution towards accommodation.

The candidate must be wiling to sign a confidentiality agreement.
