Full-time Travelling Teacher/Tutor required for B7, located on a superyacht travelling worldwide. £60,000 – £65,000+ gross per annum. Start October.
A wonderful position has arisen with a family to provide the educational needs of their young son aged 7. The family will be embarking on a round-the-world trip on a residential yacht and is seeking a qualified teacher to support their intelligent son.

The boy currently attends an online school following the British curriculum. You will be required to enhance his understanding of all topics with a focus on Maths and Science. The boy is very intelligent and requires someone who will challenge his learning at every opportunity.
As a Teacher/Tutor you will be responsible for educating the boy following the curriculum in place and offering classes in all core subjects.
This is a lovely opportunity for a teacher to leave the classroom and explore the world, culture and surroundings to allow the child to learn, explore and grow. Formal classes will be required as well as project work, excursions, extra-curricular activities, play and games to promote the child’s learning.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, kind, well-mannered, open-minded, active and creative – someone capable of adapting their classes to different environments, making each location a new learning experience and linking with the child’s interests.
The Teacher/Tutor will hold a PGCE as a minimum and have extensive knowledge of the British curriculum. Speaking Japanese would be beneficial to your application, along with the ability to play the piano.
The family will be travelling on a residential yacht which is fully staffed. You will be provided with a private suite with access to tennis courts, a personal trainer, and unlimited food.
The working schedule is 6 days on / 1 day off, working up to 45 hours per week when required. The average week will cover approximately 30 hours with 3-4 hours a day teaching.
The salary on offer is £60,000 – £65,000+ gross per annum, with flexibility for the right candidate.
The role will commence in London, where the successful candidate will spend two weeks with the family before heading to Bali. In each location you will be provided with downtime to explore and enjoy.
